What is EB3?

What is the EB3 US Settlement Program?

The EB3 (Employment – ​​Based Third) program  for skilled immigration to the US is based on the guarantee of a business (US employer) issued by the US government to provide unskilled foreign workers to the US. America in locations with a shortage of native labor. The EB3 immigration program is a form of employment-based immigration that includes: skilled workers, professionals, and unskilled workers.

  • In 1990 this program was approved by the US government
  • In 2020, with many innovative immigration policies,  the EB3 visa  is still the shortest way for you to set foot in the US.

Workers will be granted a permanent resident card (or green card) to immigrate to the United States to work long-term with the guarantee of operating a business in the US (also known as an American employer).

EB3 has 3 forms:

  • Foreign expert (EB3 Professional).

**Conditions: Have a bachelor’s, master’s degree, etc. reviewed by an international degree evaluation agency in the United States. The job must be in accordance with the major you have studied and worked in.

  • Skilled Workers (EB3 Skilled Workers).

**Conditions: Have a degree, vocational training certificate, prove you have at least 2 years of experience in the field.

  • Unskilled workers (EB3 Unskilled Workers).

**Conditions: No qualifications or experience required.

Applicants who apply for EB3 are required to have a “Resettlement for Foreign Workers” approval, also known as an I-140 application. All applicants must obtain a labor certification from the US Department of Labor. Every year, the United States sets aside 28.6% of immigrant visas based on work priority for American immigrants under the EB3 category. The EB3 US settlement program  , in the form of Unskilled workers (work that does not require skills), is a branch of the EB3 program and is a simple opportunity for your family to settle in the US.
