Brief information about America
America is located in the Western Hemisphere, bordered to the North by the Arctic Ocean, to the East by the Atlantic Ocean, and to the West by the Pacific Ocean. This continent is located in the Western Hemisphere and divided into three main regions: North America, Central America and South America. The world’s economic and military powerhouse, the United States, is located on the North American continent with an area of more than 9.8 million square kilometers. Currently, the Americas include 34 independent countries and 19 countries and territories.
From the ancient civilizations of the Mayans and Aztecs in Mesoamerica to the rainforests of the Amazon and the deserts of the Atacama, the Americas boast a diversity of landscapes and cultural heritage.

Central America and South America
These are the two remaining continents of the Americas, home to dozens of countries and territories. Each country has a different culture. The main languages are English, Spanish and local languages. The differentiated climate stretches from North to South, with a mixture of many skin colors and ethnicities.
North America
The name also shows the geographical location of this continent. Located in the North of America, bordering all three major oceans. North America was discovered around the 15th century, first discovered by Cristoforo Columbus. But history books say that Columbus was not the first person to set foot here. Before he came here, there were many tribes living. Since the 11th century, there had been a small group of Vikings scattered throughout the Atlantic coast.
North America includes many countries, of which the three largest countries by area are Canada, the United States and Mexico. North America’s climate is mainly temperate, with some regions having desert and semi-desert climates. Particularly in the US, the alpine and subtropical climate stretches from the North to the South.
